Funeral services for Bobby Daryl Goodwin, 46, of Brinson, will be held Wednesday, July 29, in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Chad Braswell, Gary Braswell, Mitchell Comerford, Tony McElroy, Joe Barber and Dooly Powell serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home.
Born Sept. 8, 1962, in Bainbridge, Mr. Goodwin died on Saturday, July 25, at his residence.
Mr. Goodwin was a 1980 graduate of Dougherty High School. He was a maintenance supervisor for Memorial Hospital and Manor and was of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeaneva McDowell Goodwin, and his brother, Stacey Goodwin.
Survivors include his son, Jason Goodwin of Leesburg, Ga.; his daughter, Heather Goodwin Yocum of Leesburg, Ga.; his father, Bobby Goodwin of Brinson, Ga.; two grandchildren and his significant other, Kim McElroy of Brinson, Ga.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
