Funeral services for Doris Wimberly Williams, 59, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David L. Gosha officiating. Interment will follow at the church’s cemetery, with friends of the family serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Bruton Mortuary.

Born Dec. 5, 1949 in Decatur County, Mrs. Williams passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Bainbridge Health Care.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Mount Olive M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Williams.

Survivors include her siblings, Sharon Wimberly, Delanda Jenkins, Tammy Smart, Dorothy Moden, Leon Fountain, William Fountain, Larry Fountain, and Marcellous Rivers.
