Funeral services for Ethel Lee Burke, 91, of Decatur County, will be held Saturday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest African Methodist Episcopal Church with her son, Minister Clifford Burke, officiating.

Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery with Mrs. Burke’s grandsons and great-grandsons serving as active pallbearers.

Born July 17, 1917, in Baker County, Ga., Mrs. Burke died on Tuesday, June 9, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Burke was a member of Pilgrim Rest A.M.E. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband of 74 years, Leroy Burke Sr.

Survivors include seven sons, James, Jessie, Minister Marvin, Lemar, Roosevelt, Leroy Jr. and Minister Clifford Burke; three daughters, Alice Burke Murphy, Linda Burke Jackson and Cozetta Burke Pearson; and a host of other family and friends.
