Graveside funeral services for Billy Mack Wade, 64, of Belle Glade, Fla., formerly of Bainbridge, were held Wednesday, May 6, at Whites Bridge Cemetery in Miller County with the Rev. Willie Williams officiating.
Born Jan. 8, 1945, in Bainbridge, Mr. Wade died on April 24, 2009, in Belle Glade, Fla.
Mr. Wade worked for Okeelanta Sugar Corp. for more than 30 years. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Jimmy Wade, and a sister, Christine Bethea.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Freeman Wade; four sons, Billy Wade Jr. of South Bay, Fla., Dewayne Wade, Tavarius Wade and Lavaris Wade, all of Belle Glade; three daughters, Alisha Wade of South Bay, and Felisha Wade and Dynesha Wade, both of Bell Glade, Fla.; six brothers, Coley Wade of South Beach, Fla., Willie Wade of Bainbridge, Dr. John Bradley of Westerville, Ohio, Booker T. Wade of Midway, Fla., and Gregory Wade and Willie B. Wade of Quincy, Fla.; four sisters, Corrine Bethea, Merlene Smith and Dollie Emanuel, all of Bainbridge, and Margie Wade of Tallahassee, Fla.; a special aunt, Betty Brown and a special extended family member, Jessica McIntosh of Belle Glade; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
