Funeral services for Helen J. Moranno Kelley, 84, of Bainbridge, will be held Tuesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Roberto S. Mena officiating.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Bryan Kelley, Erik Kelley, Vincent Taylor, Larry Kelley, Aaron Kelley and Dan Kelley serving as pallbearers.
Born Aug. 28, 1924, in Boston, Mass., Mrs. Kelley died Saturday, April 25, at Vitas Hospice Inpatient Care Unit in Stockbridge, Ga.
Mrs. Kelley moved from Boston, Mass., to Bainbridge in the 1940s and had lived here until two years ago, when she moved to Jackson, Ga., due to health reasons. She had worked as a homemaker and a substitute teacher. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, was involved in the Bainbridge Little Theatre and she and her late husband were involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4904.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett B. Kelley; two daughters, Pattie Taylor and Debra Kelley; and a son, Rusty Kelley.
Survivors include her son, Robert Kelley of Jonesboro, Ga.; a brother, Dick Morrano of Boston, Mass.; and six grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
