Edyce Reynolds

Funeral services for Edyce Mae Keene Reynolds, 77, Climax, Ga., were held Monday, March 2, at Clark Funeral Home with the Revs. Wesley Ard, Wendell Ard, and Elder Emery Canton officiating.

Interment followed at Pine Hill Cemetery with Wayne Josey, Eddie Josey, Johnny Moore, Donald Moore, Doug Vickers and David Young serving as pallbearers.

Born on May 13, 1931, in Grady County, Ga., Mrs. Reynolds died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

She was a seamstress with Ithaca Corporation and attended Climax Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Reynolds and Clifford Reynolds; four brothers, Johnny Keene, Joseph Keene, Clyde Keene and Delma Keene; three sisters, Clara Lou Keene, Peggy Collins and Sue Norton; a grandson, Clifford Reynolds III; and a great-granddaughter, Michaela Shelley.

Survivors include sons, William Jessie, Charles Monroe Reynolds and Clifford Flint Reynolds, all of Bainbridge, Louis Luther of Crestview, Fla., and Rheuben Keene Reynolds of Climax; sisters, Mary Hewett of Cairo, Ga., Gladys Ard of Gaskin, Fla., Ola Albritton of Maim, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo was in charge of funeral arrangements.
