Funeral services for Bessie Lee Thomas, 49, of Havana, Fla., will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, in the Young Memorial Chapel at Bruton Mortuary with the Rev. Tom Mango officiating.

Interment followed at Flea Town Cemetery in Climax.

Born on June 24, 1959, in Pelham, Ga., Mrs. Thomas died on Jan. 30, 2009, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Thomas graduated from Cairo High School in 1978 and worked at the Wingate Motel in Tallahassee, Fla.

Survivors include two brothers, J.C. Thomas of Calvary, Ga., and John Thomas of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Geraldine Thomas Dixon of Calvary, Ga.; a very special friend, Angela McClure; three nieces, two nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
