Funeral services for Emma Mae Miller, 72, of Iron City, Ga., were held Thursday, Feb. 5, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Revs. Ellis Hardwick and Justin Young officiating.

Interment followed at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City with Mike Miller, Jimmy Miller, Shay Miller, David Miller, Randy Weathersby and Mark Griffin serving as pallbearers.

Born in Decatur County, Ga., on Dec. 13, 1936, Mrs. Miller died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at the Miller County Nursing Home in Colquitt, Ga.

Mrs. Miller worked in retail and was a homemaker. She was a member of Iron City Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sherman Miller of Iron City; two sons, Mike Miller of Brinson, Ga., and Ricky Miller of Iron City; two daughters, Renee White of Albany, Ga., and Sandra Kay Scott of Iron City; one brother, Robert Dyches of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Weathersby of Bainbridge, Ga., and Myrtice Cofty of Colquitt, Ga.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
