Funeral services for Helen Lane Shrader, 87, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Burrell and Paul Medley officiating.

Interment followed at Cairo Cemetery with John Fudge, Curt Fudge, Sadi Hasona, James Fudge and Greg Player serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Shrader was born July 26, 1921, in Cairo, Ga. She died Sunday, Dec. 28, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge.

She was a graduate of Cairo High School, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. She worked for many years in the family business, Lane’s Pharmacy in Bainbridge, with her late husband, John H. Lane.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Wallace G. Shrader of Bainbridge; two daughters, Mary L. Fudge of Colquitt, Ga., and Nora L. Knowles of Gulfport, Miss.; her son, Sadi Hasona of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
