Troopers investigated 7 crashes in August

State troopers from the Colquitt Post of the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) inspected seven traffic crashes during the month of August in Decatur County, according to a press release from the GSP.
Sergeant First Class Marc Godby said the traffic crashes resulted in zero deaths.
Godby also said troopers from the Colquitt Post issued 118 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes eight arrests for driving under the influence, 29 citations for speeding, 26 seat belt violations and 12 child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 259 warnings.
