Funeral services for Hattie Mae Mills, 77, of Fowlstown, Ga., who died Saturday, Oct. 25, were held Thursday, Oct. 30, at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Thomas officiating.

Interment followed in Mills Cemetery with friend of the family serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Mills was born in Decatur County, Ga., and died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Ga.

She was a member of Emanuel M.B. Church.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Mills; seven children, Willie Otis Mills of Houston, Texas, Henry Mills of Stockbridge, Ga., Margaret Carter of Gardenia, Calif., Mary Joyce Mills and Eddie Mills, both of Atlanta, Ga., Jerome Mills of Grantville, Ga., and Gloria Youmans of Savannah. Ga.; two sisters, Lelar Akins and Arie Akins; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
