Graveside services for Lester Jack Pierce Jr., 57, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Monday, Oct. 27, at Colquitt City Cemetery with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

Mr. Pierce, “Rusty,” as he was called, was born in Bainbridge and died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his sister, Sue “Pat” Donley of Bainbridge; his stepmother, Carolyn Pierce of Bainbridge; two stepbrothers, Billy Harrell of Spartanburg, S.C., and Charles Harrell of Hazlehurst, Ga.; and a stepsister, Mary Lynn Moody of Colquitt, Ga.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
