Bainbridge College students in three health care programs shared the spotlight in ceremonies honoring their completing their programs during summer term.

Honorees in the Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Program, the Practical Nursing Program (also called LPN), and the Medical Assisting (MAST) Program were honored at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center on the Bainbridge College (BC) campus.

EMT graduates were Rebecca Clements-Jones, Debra Creasey, Jerry Footman, Amanada Smith Kempton, Blaine Lewis, all of Bainbridge; Terry Levatte of Damascus; Christy R. Washington of Donalsonville; Joshua Martin of Grady County; D.J. Hunt, Daniel Newberry, Sidney Wells, Scott Whitfield, all of Miller County, and Terrell Long of Seminole County.

Medical Assisting graduates included Bainbridge residents Jasmine Williams Bell, Jean Brogdon, Karen Gray, LaCara Henry, Lekita Knight, Tarcia Peterson, Shelia Starling Phillips and Climax resident Tonda K. Randall.

Practical Nursing students from both the main campus and BC Early County Center (BCEC) in Blakely were as follows: Decatur County residents Stephanie Barlow, Anna Brown, Octavia Bush, Lashia Carter, Lakia Jackson, Tameria McNair, Natasha Sanders and Linda Smith; Early County residents: Donnie Bullock, Frances Daniels, Alma Eaford, Carolyn Hayes and Sheena Lee; also, Tamara Robinson of Grady County; Levionte Bush of Miller County; Lashawn McDaniel of Randolph County, Crystal Whigan of Seminole County, and Shalandrick Douglas of Thomas County.

Students speaking at the Aug. 3 ceremonies included LPN Club President Lashia Carter, LPN Activities Director Natasha Sanders, and LPN Club Vice President Anna Brown.

Also assisting with the program were BC President Tom Wilkerson, BCEC Director Joan Simpson, Technical Studies Division Interim Chair Barbara Stephens; LPN Program Director Doris Carmichael; MAST Instructor Sherry Harrison, and Paramedic Technology Instructor/Emergency Medical Services Program Coordinator Randy Williams.

Participating in the program were faculty members Rachelle Andreu, Andrea Ferguson, Wanda Green, Trenise Grimsley and Nita Widener, and BC Special Populations Coordinator Beverly Thompson.
