A memorial service for Jeff Blaney, formerly of Cairo, Ga., will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Cloud officiating. Mr. Blaney worked as a professional engineer and consultant in Southwest Georgia for several years. He recently passed away in Atlanta, Ga. Friends and family will be received immediately following the service.
