Funeral services for Clarence Williams, 80, of Newark, N.J., were held Sept. 3, 2010, at Young Memorial Chapel at Bruton Mortuary with the Rev. Cleveland Sanders officiating.
Interment was at Jonas Lobe Cemetery with friends and family acting as pallbearers.
Mr. Williams was born in Decatur County on June 13, 1930, and moved to St. Louis, Mo., at an early age. He died Aug. 26, 2010, in Newark, N.J.
Retired for a number of years, Mr. Williams was previously employed as a long-distance truck driver.
He is survived by sisters, Ethel Williams and Thelma Close; two brothers, Robert and Marcus Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
