Funeral services for Cleo McNair Cooper, 54, of Cairo, Ga., will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, at 3 p.m. at Mount Moriah No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church in Climax with the Rev. Douglas Barber officiating.

Interment will follow in Conyers Cemetery with friends of the family and Mrs. Cooper’s nephews serving as active pallbearers.

Born April 10, 1956, in Calvary, Ga., Mrs. Cooper died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Mount Moriah No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leroy Cooper.

Survivors include two sons, Terrance McNair and Karenza McNair, both of Cairo; a daughter, Nicole Morley of Nassau, Bahamas; two brothers, Alexander McNair and C.L. McNair, both of Miami, Fla.; 10 sisters, Eula Mae Warren and Carolyn Mitchell, both of Miami, Donnie Lee Johnson of Cairo, Geraldine Simmons of Detroit, Mich., Lula Mae Williams and Mary Frances McNair of Tallahassee, Fla., Clara Mae Dawkins of Killeen, Texas, and Marjorie McNair of Bainbridge; one grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
