Funeral services for ImoJean Allen, 77, of Climax, were held Saturday, May 29, at Climax Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Weaver and Steve Poppell officiating.
Interment followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Alan Weaver, Garrett Weaver, Dustin Shockley, Cameron Shockley, Chip Davis, Rob Boyd, Jason Fletcher, Ferrell Duncan Jr., and Bruce Duncan serving as active pallbearers.
Born Dec. 1, 1933, Ms. Allen died on May 27, 2010, at her residence in Climax.
She was a retired accounts manager for Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial Hospital. She was active member of Climax Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carlton Knight and Leonard Dixon Allen Jr., and a sister, Dixie Allen Duncan.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Allen Weaver and Beverly Allen Davis, both of Climax, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Heritage Funeral Home in Cairo, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
