Walter and Barbara Masterson of Port St. Lucie, Fla., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jeannie Wilson of Roswell, Ga., to Danny Ray Lambert Jr. of Climax.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joyce Gordon of Melbourne, Fla., and of the late Charles Parker, and the late William and Antino Johnson.

She is a 1993 graduate of Leavenworth High School and is employed as a sales associate.

The groom-elect is the son of Danny and Missy Lambert of Climax, and the grandson of the late Leslie and Mary Lambert, and the late Phillip and Nadine Ingram.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1996 and from Augusta State University in 2003 with a degree in computer science. He is employed as a technician.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. at the Climax Methodist Church. The reception will follow at the Lambert residence. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and/or reception.
