Graveside services for Willie Edward Albritton, 77, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Saturday, Oct. 9, at Open Pond Cemetery in Jakin with the Rev. Fred Odom officiating.

Mr. Albritton, who was born in Columbus, Ga., died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Miller County Nursing Home,

He retired from Georgia Pacific at Cedar Springs, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Edward and Flora Mae Snell Albritton.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Glass Albritton of Donalsonville; a son, Isaac Edward Albritton Sr.; two daughters, Lisa Darnell Bartley and Altha Cheryl Hughes; two brothers, Charles Albritton of Albany, Ga., and Lester Ray Albritton of Colquitt, Ga.; nine grandchildren and their children; a step-daughter, Laura Jean Tew; a step-son Bill Mercer Jr.; nine step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
