Second-grade students have been learning about the life cycle of different organisms. Students have investigated each stage of the life cycle of the butterfly and the ladybug. Students in Vicky Smith’s class released their butterflies and ladybugs in the Nancy Barineau Memorial Garden. The memorial was dedicated on Sept. 30 when the first group of students received the Nancy Barineau Character Award.
