Cleatus A. Bryant

A funeral service for Cleatus A. Bryant, 47, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church, White Bridge Road, Colquitt, Ga., with the Rev. Simmeon Bell officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was born Sept. 4, 1963, in Miller County, Ga., to Stella Bryant and the late Willie C. Bryant. He died Nov. 12, 2010, at Miller County Hospital.
He was a member of Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church, a graduate of Bainbridge High School, and a faithful member of the quartet singing group The Golden Echos until his health failed.
He was married to Carolyn Sanders. Survivors include his mother, Stella B. Jones, Colquitt; his sisters, Annie Kate McIntyre, Wilona Wade, Lavion Roberts, all of Bainbridge, Glinda Jackson of Climax, Ga., and Sandra McCoy of Irvington, N.J.; his brother, Jamaica Bryant of Pelham, Ga.; his stepbrother, Norman Jones of Jacksonville, Fla.; a step-sister, Vivian Adkins of Bainbridge; a special uncle, Robert Bryant of Bainbridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing was held on Friday at Guyton Brothers Funeral Home in Bainbridge. The family will be receiving friends at his mother’s home, 112 Wall Road, Colquitt.
