Janice Pearce, St. John’s Episcopal Churchwomen’s Treasurer, recently presented Allison Harrell, Decatur County Schools Social Worker, and Decatur County Family Connection with two checks. One check was given for the Hunger Prevention Back-Pack Program, which helps feed children over weekends, and the other for His Hands, the local free clothing closet for necessary personal items. The Episcopal Churchwomen chose these two particular projects for their community outreach as they felt the need was especially great at this time.
