Senior Abbey Smith, the daughter of Michael and Dena Smith of Bainbridge, was crowned the 2011-2012 Grace Christian Academy homecoming queen, following Friday night’s basketball games between Grace and Highland Christian Academy at Perry Memorial Gymnasium.

Crowning the new queen was 2010-2011 Grace homecoming queen Brock Bailey. Next year, Smith plans to attend the University of Georgia or Mississippi State University.

Other senior homecoming attendants were Stephanie Mills, the daughter of Todd and Kim Mills of Bainbridge, Mary Ann Adams, the daughter of Randy and Kim Adams of Colquitt, Ga., and Caylin Walsingham, the daughter of Mike and Carol Walsingham of Bainbridge.

Mills plans to attend Young Harris College and pursue a degree in musical theater or English education; Adams plans to attend Valdosta State University and pursue a degree in speech pathology; and Walsingham plans to attend Covenant College to major in music and become a worship leader.

The junior attendant was Beth Ann Hodges, the daughter of Randy and Jan Dunlap of Bainbridge, and the sophomore attendant was Kendi Castoro, the daughter of Peter and Darla Castoro of Bainbridge.

The freshman attendant was Alexsis Lee Goodson, the daughter of Park and Kathy Goodson of Havana, Fla.
