Family asks for help after camper fire

An Attapulgus man is asking for help after his camper trailer was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.

The camper that Beaufous C. Williams Jr. lived in, at 3221 Tallahassee Highway, burned down around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, according to Decatur County Fire and Rescue.

His mother, Christine Williams, said her son and his girlfriend have received some clothing and temporary housing from the Bainbridge Salvation Army; however, he will soon need a permanent place to live.

His mother is asking if any generous person has a camper trailer they would be willing to donate or let her son stay in. If so, contact the family. Mrs. Williams’ home phone number is (229) 465-3494; her cell number is (229) 205-5482.
