Bridget Nicole Cruz-Bianchi was recently promoted to staff sergeant (E-6) in the U.S. Army. Cruz-Bianchi has been in the service for eight years and is currently serving a 12-month tour in Baghdad, Iraq. She is assigned to C Co 299th BSB from Fort Riley, Kan. She will be returning from Iraq in October. She is married and currently serving the tour with her husband, Staff Sgt. Nelson Cruz-Bianchi from Elizabethtown, Ky. Cruz-Bianchi is the daughter of Lesia Roberts from Iron City, Ga.
