Funeral services for Dorothy Bishop Logue, 84, of Pelham, Grady County, Ga., were held Friday, Jan. 22, at Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church in Grady County with the Rev. Jim Weaver officiating.

Interment followed in Mizpah Cemetery.

Born on Aug. 22, 1925, in Grady County, Ga., Mrs. Logue died on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Camellia Garden in Thomasville, Ga.

Mrs. Logue was a retired clerk with the Grady County Registrar Office and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Maggie Mae Boyette Bishop; her husband, William Bronwood Logue; brothers, Delma Bishop and Hershel Bishop; sisters, Pauline Erwin and Ila Williams; and a grandson, Brian Bronwood Logue.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dennis Green of Grady County; her son and daughter-in-law, Kirby and Cathy Logue of Bainbridge; her sisters, Lula Mae Morrison of Thomasville, Ga., and Janice Maxey of Cairo, Ga.; a brother, Jack Bishop of Ochlocknee, Ga.; grandchildren, Dale Marie Grant and her husband, Glenn, of Flowery Branch, Ga., Kelly Denise Fowler and her husband, Ryan, of Pinson, Ala., William Justin Logue and his wife, Christina, of Bainbridge, and Kristin Nancy Logue, also of Bainbridge; and her great-grandson, Jackson Davis Grant of Flowery Branch, Ga.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
