Charles Faircloth

A funeral service for Mr. Charles Kenneth Faircloth, 74, of Bainbridge, will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Nalls, Mr. Kevin Ford and Mr. Andy Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Kevin Ford, Caleb Ford, Michael Faircloth, Ricky Faircloth, Joe D’Agostino and Andy Fowler serving as active pallbearers.

Born February 23, 1936, in Seminole County, Ga., Mr. Faircloth passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Faircloth was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during Korea as an air operations specialist. He was a maintenance supervisor with Georgia Industries for the Blind, a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church and the American Legion Post No. 0400 in Stockbridge, Ga.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Napier Faircloth of Bainbridge; three daughters, Kim Ford of Bainbridge, Eve D’Agostino of Chattahoochee, Fla., and Jackie Effland of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; his son, Michael and his wife Jennifer of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; his sister, Jean Easom of Dothan, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
