Funeral services for Lillian Savanna Smith, 19, of Iron City, were held Friday, April 2, at New Hope Worship Assembly in Donalsonville with the Rev. Charles Barineau officiating.
Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Nick Mock, Seth Atkinson, Colby Carpenter, Dylan Smith, Kenny Brown, John Craft and Dakota Mock serving as active pallbearers.
Born Nov. 12, 1990, in Dothan, Ala., Miss Smith died on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at UAB University Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
Miss Smith was a member of New Hope Worship Assembly and worked at Little Pirates Daycare in Colquitt, Ga. She enjoyed shopping with her sister and spending time with her brother and her niece. Savanna always had a smile for everyone she met.
Survivors include her parents, Bubba and Debbie Smith of Iron City; her maternal grandparents, Jackie and Joyce White of Blakely, Ga.; her paternal grandparents, Hiram and Charlotte Smith of Donalsonville; one brother, Kalom Smith and his wife, Shelly, of Donalsonville; and one sister, Heather Thomas and her husband, Trey, of Donalsonville; as well as several aunts, uncles, a niece and nephew, and a special friend, Justin Williford of Dothan, Ala.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
