Thanks to a grant from the Decatur County Schools Foundation, kindergarten students from Elcan-King Elementary School recently participated in the Challenger Learning Center’s Mininauts Program in Tallahassee, Fla. Students participated in the space mission simulator, space shuttle launch activity, and make a satellite activity. They also enjoyed the digital dome show, which took them on a trip through the universe. Students came back to school aspiring to be astronauts and scientists.
