Airman Cooper graduates from basic

Air National Guard Airman Kimberly L. Cooper of Cairo graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of Lynda Stewart of Cairo, and Willie Cooper of Climax.
She graduated in 2004 from Cairo High School and received an associate degree in 2008 from Bainbridge College.
