Funeral services for Gwendolyn P. Nunnery, 62, of Pelham, were held Friday, Oct. 22, at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham, Ga., with the Rev. Stanley Smith officiating.

Interment was in Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Donnie Palmer, O.J. Johnson, Todd Phillips, Bill Nunnery III, Trevor Lee Pollock, Deleon Akridge and Greg Kelly acting as pallbearers.

Mrs. Nunnery was born Aug. 4, 1948, in Mitchell County, and died Oct. 19, 2010, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulamous and Doris Taylor Palmer, and a daughter, Leslie Johannah Wiggins.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Nunnery Jr.; two daughters, Lorrie Wiggins of Pelham and Carrie Green of Bainbridge; two sons, Tim Wiggins of Pelham and Bill Nunnery III of Thomasville, Ga., and six grandchildren.

Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham was in charge of the arrangements.
