PAB announces Harrell’s hiring

The Park Avenue Bank announced in a news release the hiring of Mark Harrell to the Bainbridge Park Avenue Bank as vice president.
“Harrell’s extensive managerial skills, real estate knowledge, community involvement and professional service experience are qualities and attributes that will align very well with our community bank mission statement,” said Market President Frank Posey. “Mark is a quality individual, and his addition strengthens our position in the local market and better positions Park Avenue Bank to continue to expand our base in this community.”
Harrell has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, worked with Southwest Georgia Oil Company as comptroller, and later was a co-owner. He was also a partner in an investment brokerage firm located in Bainbridge, and has most recently been heavily involved in real estate development as well as president and co-owner of DeHildren Realty.
Harrell’s wife, Lauren, was named president of DeHildren Realty
Harrell’s community involvement is extensive with many years of public and civic service to the community through his tenure as a mayor, city councilman, Bainbridge Rotary Club, the YMCA, Bainbridge College Foundation, The Park Avenue Bank Advisory Board and other local organizations.
Harrell states: “The opportunity to accept this position with PAB will give me the ability to continue my service to the community. I believe that the experiences I have had through previous business ventures will serve me well in assisting people with their commercial and personal financial needs. Having been a part of this community my entire adult life, I look forward to expanding business and personal relationships with everyone in this area through this position at Park Avenue Bank.”
