Funeral services for Trevis “Kenta” Clemons, 31, of Attapulgus, Ga., were held Saturday, March 19, at St. Thomas M.B. Church in Fowlstown with the Rev. John Law officiating.

Interment was in Mount Olive Church Cemetery with Rendell Strong, Deveteriss Chukes, John Gibson Jr., Reco Sapp, Vernon Campbell, Willie Robinson, Brad Calloway and Leon Campbell acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Clemons was born March 19, 1979, and died March 13, 2011, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge. He received his education in the Decatur County Schools and later attended Lively Technical College to receive his culinary arts degree. He was a member of Mount Olive AME Church in Attapulgus and loved to spend time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Clemons and Rhunette Campbell.

Survivors include his wife, Sharcarrio Clemons of Bainbridge; daughter, Fantasia Clemons of Attapulgus; a son, Raymonta Clemons of Bainbridge; two stepchildren, Carlos Thomas Jr. and ZyKeria Scott, both of Bainbridge; two sisters, Khatonya Clemons of Quincy, Fla., and Teneisha Jackson of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Antonio Clemons of New York and Christopher Clemons of Tallahassee, Fla.; and a host of relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
