Funeral services for Isiah “Ike” Mills, 73, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Sunday, April 17, at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Fowlstown with Pastor John D. Thomas Sr. officiating.
Interment was in Mills Cemetery in Fowlstown with Robert Carter, Jesse Cohen, Ricky Cohens, Ronnie Harris, Samuel Harris, Calvin Mills, Eddie Mills, Henry Mills, Jerome Mills, Willie O. Mills, Charles Mullins and Willie Walker acting as pallbearers.
Mr. Mills was born March 7, 1938, in Bainbridge and died April 6, 2011. He was a graduate of Attapulgus Mount Moriah High School and attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fla. He was employed at General Motors in Pontiac, Mich., for 30 years, and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church there.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Rudolph Mills, to whom he was married 30 years.
Survivors include his brothers, Willie and Charles Mills, both of Bainbridge; sister, Lillie B. Emanuel of Bainbridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
