Funeral services for LuCindy Denise Williams Miles, 47, were held Saturday, July 23, at Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Jerome Severson officiating.
Interment was at Jonas Lobe Cemetery with D’Angelo Blossomgame, Jeremy Harper, Quint Jones, Brandon Linzy, James Lodman and John Taylor acting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were her nephews.
“Cindy” Miles was born Oct. 24, 1963, and died July 17, 2011.
She was educated in the Decatur County Schools and furthered her education by receiving a degree in certified nursing. She was connected with Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church from an early age and was a member of the youth choir and grew into the adult choir. She was a member of many choirs and singing groups and her voice was heard in the tri-county area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Williams Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Miles; three children, Tynekia Monique Williams, Marquis Williams and Johnny Feaster; her mother, Mary Queen Williams; seven siblings, Ronald McCants, James Williams, Lawrence Williams, Margaret Thompson, Jimmy Williams Jr., Maurice Williams and Debra Williams; three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
