BC gives out 4 ‘Meritorious Awards’

Bainbridge College (BC) President Richard Carvajal presented the 2011 Meritorious Awards to faculty and staff members during a special gathering for BC faculty and staff in the Student Wellness Center.
The four Meritorious Award recipients are Stephanie Adams of Bainbridge, who serves as an assistant in the Financial Aid Office; Iron City residents Dr. Michael Kirkland, who serves as chair of the Arts and Sciences and the Learning Support divisions, and Cherie Owens, who is an administrative assistant in the Business Office and volunteers as a sign language interpreter for a hearing impaired student; and Donalsonville resident Jeffrey Ross, who is a faculty member in the Health Sciences Division, teaching in the Associate of Science in Nursing program.
