Paul Farrington, 68, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, November 23 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 27 at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Phillips, the Rev. Steve Brooks and the Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Farrington’s grandsons serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home.
Mr. Farrington was born June 20, 1943 in Norwalk, Conn., the son of Frederick Farrington and Irene Saunders Farrington. He served in the United States Navy, retired from AT&T as a Field Supervisor, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Farrington of Bainbridge; his daughters, Lea Hickox of Waycross, Ga., Sue Pittman and her husband, Rusty, of Waycross, Kim Tidwell and her husband, David, of Waycross, Debbie Taft and her husband, Kendall, of Waycross and Connie Curles and her husband, Jack, of Bainbridge; his son, Frank Kay and his wife, Melba, of Bainbridge; his brother, Mark Farrington of Covington, Ga.; his sisters, Kathy Field and her husband, Jack, of St. Cloud, Fla., Ellen Raposa of St. Cloud, Bonnie Hernandez and her husband, William, of Miami, Fla., Christine Reighard and her husband, Bobby, of Kissimmee, Fla., and Andrea Daugherty and her husband, Dennis, of Merritt Island, Fla.; his 17 grandchildren and his 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth and Patti.
