Funeral services for Naomi Smith Summers, 79, who died at her home Monday, March 19, 2012, in Bristol, Fla., will be held Wednesday, March 21, at 5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Bristol, with interment at the Lake Mystic Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1545 Raymond Diehl Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309.

She was born April 9, 1932, to Charlie and Mae Lloyd Smith of Smithtown, in Decatur County. She lived most of her life in Liberty County, Fla.

She was a former owner-operator of the Lake Mystic Grocery and had served as a board member of the Farm Bureau of Liberty County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Summers.

Survivors include two sons, David and Donnie Summers of Bristol; two daughters, Patti S. Shuler of Eastpoint, Fla. and Linda S. Neel of Bristol; five grandchildren, Chip Smith, Jackson and John Summers, Summerann Shuler Miller and Roni Shuler; one sister, Geraldine Walker; and two special caregivers, Patricia Hooks and Pat Hunt.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home of Quincy, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.
