English-Stubbs vows exchanged

Joan Takeira English became the bride of Bobby Bernard Stubbs III in a March 3, noon-time wedding held at the Earle May Boat Basin Community Center.
The bride was attired in a black, ankle-length formal dress, accessorized with red shoes. She wore a diamond tiara and carried a red and black bouquet designed by Kathy Mitchell.
The groom wore a black suit and shirt with a red tie and flower.
The ceremony was performed by Minister Lamar Sweet and music was by Keith L. Tatum and Tametris L. English, mother of the bride.
Bobby Bernard Stubbs IV served as best man for his father.
Parents of the couple are Johnnie and Demetriss English Jr., Tametris L. English, Bobby Bernard and Regina Stubbs Jr. and Valerie Stubbs, all of Bainbridge.
Food and decorations were by Valerie Stubbs, Tametris English, Kathryn Mitchell and Lafaye Sweet.
