Martha Story Moore Agerton, 83, of Greensboro, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Bainbridge Healthcare.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, at the Greensboro First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, with the service to be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, in the church. Interment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, in Quincy, Fla.

She was born in Quincy, Fla., on Aug. 22, 1929, to Winston A. and Ruth Grady Story. She was a graduate of Gadsden High School and a member of the Greensboro First United Methodist Church. She was a retired bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Billy Moore Jr. and Julian “Peanut” Agerton.

Survivors include a son, Winston D. (Elaine) Moore of Climax; daughter, Jeanene Moore (Chris) Harper of LeHigh Acres, Fla.; step-son, Julian “Sam” Agerton Jr. and step-daughter, Kathryn Agerton (Danny) Ferrell of Ozark, Ala.; brother, Sonny Story of Moultrie, Ga.; sister, Helen Story Powell of Gainesville, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home of Quincy is in charge of arrangements.
