Jessie “Lou” Ramsay Jarvey, 70, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, at her residence.
The memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Bainbridge First Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment was at West Bainbridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Jarvey was born March 23, 1942 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Jesse Clayton Ramsay and Nadovah Smith Ramsay. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Bruce F. Jarvey of Bainbridge; her son, Matthew Griffin and his wife, Jessica, of Black River Falls, Wis.; her step-son, James B. Jarvey and his wife, Susan, of Scottsdale Ariz.; her brother, Michael Ramsay and his wife, Kathy, of Bonifay, Fla.; her grandchildren, Jesse Griffin and his wife, Dana, Michelle Jenkins and her husband, Joe, and Trey Jarvey; her great-granddaughter, Raegan Griffin; and several nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Jarvey was preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Griffin.
