This Saturday, the First United Methodist Church will host a screening of a feature film documentary about the Power Team, a group of athletes who travel around the world combining feats of strength with inspirational messages.

The movie, “Born Again: The Power Team Story” will be shown on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m., in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Bainbridge. The event is free and open to the public.

From the film’s producers:

“The film chronicles the 30-year history of the team, while simultaneously documenting the emotional, familial, physical, and psychological toll these massive bodybuilders endure to preach the gospel and save the lost.”

Members of the Power Team will be in Bainbridge to attend the screening and talk with attendees afterwards.
