Bainbridge College to host GED graduation

The Bainbridge College Adult Education GED graduation ceremonies will take place on Jan. 29 at the Kirbo Center at 7 p.m.
GED graduates from the Bainbridge College Adult Education program and 2011-12 graduates from the Decatur County Schools Adult Education Learning Center will be honored.
Graduates from Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole counties will take part. Each of the participants have fulfilled all of the requirements necessary to earn their GED and have passed the official GED test with a score of 2250 or higher.
Dr. Tonya Strickland, vice president of academic affairs, will deliver remarks and the keynote speaker will be Bainbridge College President Dr. Richard Carvajal. Laura Lee Bernstein will bring greetings from Technical College System of Georgia.
The student speakers will be Sarah Babcock, Shontez Coz and Isaac Weston. The Bainbridge Rotary Club will provide a reception following the ceremony.
