On Tuesday, April 9, Bainbridge High School’s administrators, coaches, students and parents witnessed another milestone in the lives of two of their student athletes.
Senior Bearcat football players, Devin Hubbard and Darryl McGee, signed their letters of intent to play football at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla.
Hubbard primarily played defensive back for the Bearcats, and McGee was a defensive lineman.
Southeastern’s teams are called the Fire, and this is the school’s first year to compete in football. Keith Barefield is the head coach, and the team competes in The Sun Conference in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).
