We congratulate the more than 300 students at Bainbridge High School and Grace Christian Academy, who will achieve a major milestone later this week as they participate in their high school graduation ceremonies.

In this technological age, education is even more and more important so that our young people will be able to compete in the global marketplace. With the educational background of a high-school diploma, our children will be positioned well to further their education and training, to where they will be able to work in the high-paying, highly-scientific jobs of the 21st century.

We hope that these graduates remember that their high-school diploma is only the first step in a lifetime of learning and discovery. Never stop questioning and exploring, and try to learn something new every day.
