Jimmie Dodson Williams, 80, of Eldorendo, Ga., passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service was held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Eldorendo Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas P. Long officiating.

Interment was at Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born April 4, 1933, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Winston Edward Dodson and Lillie Mae Sellars. She was a homemaker and member of Eldorendo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Winston Williams; her sisters, Charlotte Dodson Herring and Maxine Dodson Patterson; and her step-father, Byron Mills.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, J.P. Williams of Eldorendo; her daughter, Patsy Williams Harkins of Eldorendo; her daughter-in-law, Deborah Williams of Eldorendo; her sister, Gail Mills Brown of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Ryan Harkins, Jana Harkins, and Lani Harkins Rineer; and her great grandchildren, Liam Harkins, Colin Harkins, Evelyn Harkins, and Brooks Rineer.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
