The Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library has some great programs for teens this year as part of the Summer Reading Program.
ACT/SAT study groups are forming every Wednesday afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., beginning June 5 through July 24. Students will have a chance to concentrate on the areas that they want to focus on, utilizing specialized online study guides and other resources. Students with laptops are encouraged to bring them.
Money, checkbooks and debit cards is the first topic in a series for teens. This program will be on Monday, June 3, at 5 p.m. Come learn everything you need to know about getting started with money management. This great step to financial health will be presented by Jessica Myers of Regions Bank and all teens are invited to attend. This program is part of the 2013 Summer Reading Program.
