A second person has been charged in connection with a drug bust conducted by Bainbridge Public Safety at 527 S. Monroe St. last Friday.
Ramu Akinsheye Hawkins, 37, of the same address, turned himself into BPS investigators on Monday morning, Captain Mark Esquivel said.
Both Hawkins and 33-year-old Terrell Vashoun White are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of MDMA (ecstasy) with intent to distribute.
While executing a search warrant at Hawkins’ and White’s residence, BPS officers found what they believe to be doses of a designer drug called a “molly.” Mollies are a mix of ecstasy and either methamphetamine or caffeine.
“Mollies” are actually clear pill capsules that have been emptied of whatever they originally contained, and filled with a new mixture of drugs, according to BPS investigators.
