Lee Forester Yager

Mr. Lee Forester Yager, age 82, of Climax, Ga., passed away late Friday, May 23, 2014, at Memorial Hospital. Services for Mr. Yager were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Climax Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Poppell officiating. The members of the Josh Sunday School Class served as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Yager was interred in Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Lee Forester Yager was born Aug. 5, 1931 in Vernon, Florida, to James Alexander Yager and Nellie Mae Collins Yager.
Lee retired from Amoco Fabrics. He was of the Pentecostal faith. The son of a minister, he enjoyed going to church. Lee was a quiet and humble man. He will be dearly missed by the family he loved so much.
Lee Yager is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sara E. Yager of Climax; children, James L. Yager and wife, April of Cummings, Georgia and Ricky Yager of Ellendale, Delaware; stepsons, Carlton Boyett and Darryl Boyett and wife, Erin of Climax; sister, Louise McLaughlin of Chipley, Florida; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Vivian Yager Booker.
