Maggie Bridges and William Kearney to marry

Mr. and Mrs. John Bridges Jr. of Brinson, Ga. are announcing the engagement of their daughter Maggie Bridges to William Kearney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kearney of Alpharetta, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Brown of Donalsonville, Glenn and Dottie Brown of Bainbridge, and John and Carolyn Bridges of Brinson.

She is a 2011 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration. She is employed with Huron Consulting Group.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Charles and Emily Meckstroth of Columbus, Ohio, Eleanor Kearney of Madison, Wisconsin and the late Richard Kearney.

William is a 2009 graduate of Alpharetta High School and a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration. He is employed with North Point Community Church in Alpharetta.

The wedding is planned for December 19 at Cherry Log Christian Church, Cherry Log, Ga. The reception will follow at Willow Creek Falls, Blue Ridge, Ga.

A local meet and greet reception will be held on Jan. 24, at Bainbridge First United Methodist Church.
